Product Overview
The design starts from one idea: cooking over an open fire should not need a frame, a table or a level pitch. The whole unit rides on a single ground stake, so it stands where a four-legged grill will not sit — a sloping bank, a rough clearing or a patch of camp ground that has seen a season of use. That is why campground operators, leisure parks and catering teams treat this custom stake mounted campfire grill as ready-made cooking infrastructure that one person can set up and then leave alone. It also gives private-label camping brands a complete open-fire cooking piece without developing a new design from scratch.

Material & Finish
The grate, the stake and the rotating joint are made from metal-iron and finished in black, a coating chosen to resist corrosion and everyday knocks. Iron earns its place here because it holds its shape: a loaded grate and the heat cycles of a long fire will not leave the frame twisted at the end of a season. The coating is applied so the black reads evenly across both parts, and colour is checked batch to batch — which matters when the same grill sits on a store shelf or works in a fleet. Every batch is finished and inspected in our workshop before it is packed.
Setup & Heat Control
1.Choose ground that will take the stake — soil, sand or soft gravel, clear of roots and rock.
2.Drive the stake in beside the fire, leaving enough height for the grate to clear the flames.
3.Slide the grate onto the stake and check that it turns freely before any food goes on.
4.Swing the grate over the hottest part of the fire to sear, then turn it towards the edge when a dish needs gentler heat.
5.Step back and let it cook — once the stake is set, no one has to hold the grill.
6.After the fire is out and the metal has cooled, pull the stake and take the two parts away for cleaning.
Scale & Supply Capability
Decent Crafts manufactures metal-iron products in Fujian, China and exports to importers, wholesalers and private-label brands. Our range covers four connected lines: fire pits and fireplace accessories, firewood racks and log holders, pet and livestock feeders, and lawn and garden tools. Buyers can combine several categories in a single order and deal with one factory. OEM and customisation are welcome by picture or sample, with custom colours available. Standard orders start at 100 sets, samples are ready in 7-15 days, and bulk delivery runs 30-45 days. Goods ship from Xiamen port, and we accept L/C and T/T.
Häufig gestellte Fragen
Q1. Where can the stake be driven in?
Soil, sand and loose gravel hold the stake most securely. It will not drive into rock or paved hardstanding, so on those pitches plan a softer cooking point — a patch of earth beside the pad is usually enough. As a portable campfire grill manufacturer we make the stake as part of the unit, so tell us what your ground is like and we will match it to your sites.
Q2. Can we specify a colour other than black?
Black is the standard finish on this custom stake mounted campfire grill, and other colours are produced to order. Send a colour reference — a Pantone number, a paint chip or a physical sample — and we match it on the coating. Using the same colour across several products helps distributors present the range as one family.
Q3. Does it work over charcoal as well as wood?
Yes. The grate sits over an open fire of any kind, so wood, charcoal or a mix of both all work. A wood fire gives a long, gentle heat that suits larger pieces, while charcoal gives a steadier bed for faster grilling. Either way, control comes from where the grate is turned over the fire.
Q4. How should I look after it between trips?
Let the grill cool completely, brush the ash off the grate and wipe the metal dry before it goes back in the vehicle or store. Keep it out of the weather when it is not in use — a dry shelf or a covered bin is enough. Check that the grate still turns freely each time you unpack it, and touch in any chip in the coating before rust gets a hold.
Q5. How does it pack down for transport?
The grill comes apart into two pieces: the ground stake and the grate. Slide the grate off the stake, strap the two together and they lie flat, loading with the rest of a camping or event kit. There is nothing to assemble on site beyond driving the stake and dropping the grate onto it.
Q6. Does the grate stay steady while it turns?
The grate turns on a fixed joint rather than a loose pivot, so it holds the position you set instead of creeping while food is on it. That matters when a catering team is working two or three grills around one fire and nobody is standing at each one. Keep the joint free of ash and grit and the action stays smooth.
