The three legs are pressed into the ground, so the frame sits steadily on soil, gravel and grass and can be levelled by setting each leg to its own depth. On rock or hard paving the legs need a surface that lets them bite; tell us what your customers cook on and we will advise on the leg design for your order.

Q3. How should we look after the tripod between trips?
Let the frame cool completely before it is handled, then wipe the grate and chain down and keep the coating dry and undamaged. Store the camping tripod grill folded and under cover rather than standing in wet ground through the off-season — a dry store is what keeps the black coating and the iron underneath ready for the next season.
