Product Overview
This elevated firewood burning rack is a free-standing steel frame that sits on the hearth and raises logs clear of the firebox floor. Air reaches the underside of the wood instead of being blocked by the base, which is what gets a fire going quickly and keeps it burning steadily. It replaces the flat, close-set grate that packs ash under the logs and has to be raked out by hand. Load the logs across the bed, light from the front or from below, and top up as the pile settles — the raised bars hold the wood in place as it burns down. There is nothing to assemble: set it in place and it is ready for the first fire.
Key Features
Heavy-duty metal-iron frame: solid bar and flat steel rather than thin pressed sheet, so the bed keeps its shape through repeated heating and cooling.
Raised open bed: air moves freely under the logs, which keeps the base of the fire alive instead of smothering it against the hearth floor.
Wide load bed: several logs sit side by side without rolling into each other, so the fire stays stacked and even as it burns down.
Made by the fireplace grate manufacturer: frames are produced on our own line, so questions about gauge, colour or a change to the shape go straight to the people who build it.

Airflow & Burning Behaviour
A flat grate lets ash pack down under the logs, and the fire slowly loses the air it needs at the base. This rack keeps a channel open underneath instead: air draws through the gap, reaches the underside of the wood and keeps the coal bed alive, which is the part of a fire that burns longest and gives off the most heat. The open bars also let spent ash fall through as the wood burns down, so each fresh log still has air under it rather than sitting on a heap of cinders. In an open fireplace that shows up as quicker lighting and a steadier flame; in a wood stove it means you can hold a livelier fire with the same load of wood.
Fireplaces, Stoves & Fire Pits
Traditional open fireplaces: the raised bed sits inside the firebox, holds the logs together and keeps the fire drawing while you add fuel through the evening.
Wood-burning stoves and log burners: a compact frame loads easily through the door of a smaller firebox where a wide grate will not sit flat.
Outdoor fire pits and patio hearths: use it open to the sky for flame and coals, then bring it under cover once it is cold so the frame stays dry between seasons.
Guest houses and holiday rentals: the same rack suits the hearths across a property, which keeps spares and replacements simple to manage.
Custom Colour & OEM Orders
1.Send what you have — a photo of the design you want, a sketch, a colour swatch or a physical sample. OEM orders can be worked from pictures or samples, so use whichever is clearest for you.
2.Agree the colour: black is standard, and we produce the custom elevated fireplace grate in the shade you specify rather than matching as closely as we can from a fixed palette.
3.Approve a pre-production piece: we make the rack in your colour and shape so you can sign it off before the bulk run.
4.Go into production: once the piece is approved, we schedule the batch and keep you updated until the order is packed for export.
